If your heart is sad or hurting, I am here to tell you there is hope. Right in this very moment, there is an opening becoming available to you for healing, wholeness and happiness- even though right now it may feel far from true.

When you are in touch with your pain, you are becoming aware of it. You are making the unconscious, conscious. Sometimes we live in ways that brace against the pain or numb it out, and while that may have worked up until now, or for a short while, the truth is it just perpetuates the original pain that put that bracing or numbing strategy there in the first place. That is calling for your attention now, for healing. And yes, you can do it.

Sometimes we just get smacked upside the head by life and it can be something of a wake up call to heal those places in you that have been neglected. I promise you, it is possible. Another way IS possible.

You can learn to befriend yourself. You can learn to be with your suffering and your pain in a way that won’t knock you over, and in so doing the antidote will make itself known to you. The pain will become less and you will feel lighter. This isn’t easy but it is oh so worth it. You are worth it.

May the sun shine on your face and in your heart. May you know the essence of love as the only reality.
